Birdfeeder & Fused Glass Panel Workshop
Tuition: $80, plus an estimated cost of $10-$30 for glass, based on your choice of glass. (Glass can be purchased in the Glass Studio) and $25 for the bird feeder.
Ages: 16 to Adult
Join us in the woodshop and glass studio to create a handcrafted birdfeeder featuring your own fused glass panel. This unique project combines craftsmanship and creativity into a beautiful, functional piece that will attract birds while adding charm to your deck or hanging in front of a window—so you can enjoy watching them up close.
On Day one we’ll work in the glass studio where Janis will teach you how to design and create a fused glass panel that complements your feeder perfectly. You’ll learn techniques for working with sheet glass and frit to create a panel that adds color, light, and personality to your finished piece.
On Day two, we’ll move to the woodshop and build the wooden birdfeeder. Our skilled woodcrafter, Mac, will guide you step-by-step through the construction process, making it approachable and fun for all skill levels.
Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned fuser, or have never worked with power tools before, this class is designed for you. We’ll guide you through every step, so you leave with confidence—and a beautiful birdfeeder to show for it.
Pre-requisite: None. No prior woodworking or fused glass experience required.
Please wear closed toed shoes.
You can bring any Bullseye Glass COE 90 to class that you have previously purchased.
