Introduction to Acting Shakespeare
Step into the world of Shakespeare with confidence in this approachable, "no fear" 7-week acting course. Participants will explore speaking verse, work with a monologue, and engage in scene study from Shakespeare’s comedies.
Whether you are an actor looking to strengthen your classical skills or a lover of literature eager to bring the text to life, this course offers a hands-on experience in voice, movement, and script analysis. Discover how to take Shakespeare’s words from page to stage while building a deeper connection to the rhythm, meaning, and emotion of the Bard’s timeless works.
For ages 16+, youth and adult.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14+ days notice: Full refund minus $10 admin fee
- 13 days or less: No refund
Registration Policy:
Waiver forms: Participants must complete and submit a waiver form.
Consent forms: Participants under 16 require a parent or guardian’s consent to sign in and out RCA programs
Note: Forms will be emailed upon registration and available at the RCA on the first day of the program

If the RCA does not meet the minimum registration requirement for this course. The course may be cancelled or postponed. We will notify each participant registered.
