STEM East

The USCG Aviation Logistics center is pleased to offer students a tour of its Coast Guard Aircraft rebuild facility. Students will see the helicopters torn apart and see what it takes to get them flying again. They will also experience a variety of job opportunities in and around aviation at the ALC. NOTE: The tour is approximately 1.5 miles of flat ground walking. All participants must wear closed-toed shoes.

This event is intended for one group of up to 25 middle school students.

NOTE: Teachers who select this option will work with base personnel to complete the background security checks necessary for base access. Additional information will be provided to those who register for this event.
