CCW Classes (Knowledge is Key) Spring 2026
8Hour Class
This class meets all Colorado training requirements in HB24-1174 to apply for your concealed handgun permit. A written concealed handgun competency exam and live-fire shooting exercise will be administered and must be passed in order to obtain your CHP certificate. The Concealed Handgun Permit course offers a comprehensive blend of classroom learning and hands-on range experience, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed for responsible firearm carry and personal protection. Designed for both experienced individuals and those relatively new to firearms, this course provides thorough, hands-on instruction. You'll build a solid foundation in firearm safety, maintenance, types of firearms, ammunition, and the fundamentals of shooting. Additionally, we cover legal issues related to concealed carry and the use of force. Both classroom instruction and live-fire exercises are included. Range time includes 50 rounds shot for practice before the required 50 rounds for the live-fire CHP exercise. Upon completion, you will meet the legal requirements to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit through your county.
