Page By Page: Folded Book Art

Join Martha Rasche to learn the art of transforming a simple hardcover book into a unique folded work of art. In this hands-on class, you’ll create a sculptural design by carefully folding pages into a word pattern: Love, Faith, or Joy.

Each participant will receive a book and pattern, and Martha will guide you step by step through the process, from marking your design to folding and finishing your piece.

This class is beginner-friendly and a wonderful way to explore a new paper art technique while creating a meaningful decorative piece to display in your home or give as a gift.

Activities are made possible in part by the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

We value inclusion and access for all participants. We are pleased to provide reasonable accommodations. Please contact Alexianna at alexi@traditionalartstoday.org to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks in advance of class.
