Getting tied to sh*t - Part 2
Hi Rope Rascals!
Are you STILL scratching your head on how to (consensually) tie people to shit?
In this second iteration of 'Getting Tied to Shit" we'll show you more ways to deliciously bind your tying partner to things. We'll cover some fun structural ties and explore more ways to look at a pole, chair, or even a shopping cart as a anchoring point to tie to.
After the instructional part of class is done, we will explore the playground (weather permitting) to let our creativity go wild as we bind to structures of all kinds. If there are any folks familiar with suspension, the playground has several structural points to tie to.
This will be a partnered class, but if you don't have a tying partner, please let us know! There may be other singles in attendance.
Things to know before the event :
- Please bring several bundles of rope and a safety cutting tool. Please let us know if you'll need to borrow rope. Safety shears will be available to purchase for $5
- This will be a hybrid class. Part of the class will be learning ties, and the other half will be open tying and practicing in a private and secure playground.
- This class is for all skill levels. Some knowledge of a double-column tie, reverse tension, and hitches is recommended but not required.
- Feel free to bring personal items that will make you more comfortable in the space.
- If cost is a concern, please reach out about receiving a scholarship.
Before attending, please review our House Rules and FAQ
All attendees are vetted; if you have not attended an AS event before, we will reach out before the event. We also ask that first-time attendees arrive at 6:30 pm for a rope safety review.

- This event is for ages 18+. You may be asked to show ID upon arrival.
- The venue is up a set of stairs; please let us know accessibility is a concern.
