Join us this summer for our Toy Shop Maker Camp at Glitter Barn! Campers will unleash their creativity as they sketch and plan their very own toy designs. With the guidance of our expert instructors, they'll learn about different materials and techniques for bringing their ideas to life! From classic toy-inspired projects to imaginative handmade creations, campers will dive into hands-on crafting that is full of creative magic. With a workshop stocked with a fun variety of embellishments, every toy will be as unique as the amazing kid who creates it. Toy Shop Maker Camp runs 9am-12pm.
Note that you can do this camp again if you came last year as there will be new toys in the line-up for 2026!
Campers who stay until 2pm can keep the creative magic going with our Extended Studio Time option. This includes extra hands-on making, open-ended free create time, and time in our eco-crafting zone, where kids can build and invent using recycled and natural materials We’ll also have special park days for outdoor games and art adventures — the perfect blend of studio creativity and fresh-air fun! We’ll walk four short blocks to Cemetery Park or Lincoln School (location will be announced at camp) for outdoor games and art projects. Park days will be announced prior to camp and are weather- and heat-dependent.

Important Details:
• Extended Studio campers (9am–2pm) should bring a lunch for a picnic outside each day.
• We will enjoy indoor/outdoor games on our property (or at the park) after lunch.
• Our camps are led by trained Glitter Barn teachers and supported by multiple camp assistants, so kids are always surrounded by our caring, attentive staff. We keep small groups with a typical ratio of about 1 staff member for every 8–10 campers, depending on group size and ages.
• All participants must complete a studio waiver prior to the first day of camp.
• Summer Maker Camps at Glitter Barn are for kids ages 5–12.
• If your child is under 5, please email info@glitterbarnart.com for approval prior to registration. With prior approval, we can sometimes allow an older 4 year old/TK kiddo to join us at Maker Camp, especially if part of a sibling group.
