Social Justice Through Hip Hop Lens with Ed
This course uses Hip Hop as both a cultural text and a tool for critical thinking. Students will explore Hip Hop’s four elements MCing, DJing, Graffiti, and Breaking, while connecting them to broader issues of social justice, identity, resistance, and community voice. Through discussion, analysis, and creative expression, students will consider how Hip Hop reflects and challenges the world around them.
