Learn how to model a 3D printable object in Blender.
Whether you’re brand‑new to Blender or looking to sharpen your modeling skills, this hands‑on class will guide you through the essential tools and techniques needed to bring your ideas into the physical world.
We’ll clear up the common misconception that Blender isn’t suited for precision work and show you exactly how to achieve accurate, print‑ready models.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use precision modeling settings to create accurate designs
  • Navigate the 3D Viewport with confidence
  • Work with object primitives — the framework of many models
  • Apply editing tools and transformations to shape your object
  • Harness Blender’s powerful non‑destructive Modifiers
  • Prepare your model for successful 3D printing
  • Export your final design as a ready‑to‑print .stl file

What to bring:
A laptop with Blender installed. Blender 5.0 is ideal, but earlier versions will work for most of the class.

NOTE: This class requires payment by Credit, Debit, Apple Pay, or Venmo via the PAYPAL link. The sequence is payment first & then you click the register button. If you have issues, please DM Lisa in Slack.
