High School Advanced Math (Trigonometry & Pre-Calculus) (Virtual Tuesday / In Person Thursday)
High School Advanced Math - ($475 per year + $10 copy/materials fee)
Prerequisite: Students must have successfully completed Algebra 2 and Geometry or Saxon Algebra I and Saxon Algebra 2, maintaining a C+ average in order to take this course.
Students will conclude their discussion of Geometry, further investigate non-linear concepts and study Trigonometry topics. The textbook for this course is Saxon Advanced Math. Students may earn ½ Geometry credit with their Advanced Math credit upon completion of the course. Students with a full Geometry credit when entering this class, may earn honors credit for Geometry.
Student Expectations: Because this is an incremental study requiring “time in the material,” students must be prepared to complete between three - four homework lessons each week and one - two quarterly tests or quizzes.
The tutor will provide tests and quizzes - DO NOT purchase the Saxon test packet for this course.
