Speaking and Listening - CAT Module B (2 Weeks)
Training for Teaching Arabic Speaking and Listening Skills
How can teachers get their students to practise using more spoken Arabic in class while developing their language skills effectively? This module teaches participants how to expand speaking activities by using focused practice where interaction is critical. As with all our modules, mini lessons provide the opportunity for trainees to consolidate what has been learned.
The module is taught by experienced English and Arabic language teacher trainers and includes approximately 30 hours which include teaching sessions, group discussions, materials development and presentations or mini-lessons. There are also homework assignments.
Modules require a good knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA),
This module has 6 4-hour sessions over 2 weeks in addition to feedback, lesson observation and individual evaluation.
For more information on the CAT course as well as study grants, please see our website.
All participants will receive an attendance certificate for completing the module, but those who show progress during presentations and mini-lessons are awarded a certificate stating that they have demonstrated significant teaching skills. For those who complete all four modules, in any order and demonstrating progress, a CAT certificate will be awarded.
The full CAT course costs £1499. An £81 (>20%) discount is automatically applied when purchasing your 4th module. (£395 + £395 + £395 + £314). If paying the full module costs up-front is a problem, then there are options such as Klarna (Europe) or Tabby (Middle East) available that can help. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
You will need access to a computer and basic computer literacy for this course (Zoom, word processing etc)
