Movement and Motion - VIRTUAL
Designed for community members age 55+, who are wishing to improve their balance and range of motion regardless of their current ability level. The program is led by trained exercise volunteers who ensure the program is run in a safe manner. Classes can be done seated or standing.
This class is offered in a hybrid format so participants can attend in person or virtually via Zoom.
Please note that registering for this version of the program reserves space for you to join virtually via Zoom. If you are looking to attend the program in person at the CHCN, please register for "Movement and Motion - IN PERSON"
Our Heart Wise Exercise Programs
All of these programs meet the following criteria:
1. Encourage regular, daily aerobic exercise
2. Incorporate warm-up, cool-down and self-monitoring with all exercise sessions
3. Encourage exercise at a safe level and offer options to modify intensity
4. Suitable for those living with chronic condition and cardiovascular disease
5. Have a documented emergency plan.
