Rogue Valley Pottery Supply

This class is designed to help build glaze confidence and supply you with the understanding to take your finish to the next level. You will learn how to get the most out of your glazes and set yourself up for success with glaze choices. 

In this class we’ll give you techniques in how to prepare your bisqued piece to be glazed, applying glaze, best practice for clean lines, how to test combinations, ways to use washes and underglazes and all the problem solving that comes with learning what glazes work for you. It’ll set you up with a great base line to move forward with your glazing journey with far more successful pieces. 

Please bring 3 bisqued pieces (Max 300 cubic inches). One vertical (like a cup), one horizontal (like a bowl or plate) and one with great texture. We’ll try different glaze choices to best suit your shapes and how they’ll respond. All pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks. Use of tools and glazes are all covered by class fee.

Cancellations 15 days or more prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Cancellations up to 7 days prior will receive 50% back. 

Registration is not transferable. 

Cancellations made the week of the class will not be refunded.
