In this all-level botanical watercolour workshop, you will explore painting from living plants as well as carefully selected botanical templates, allowing you to observe natural forms while building confidence in your own creative style.

You will learn a contemporary watercolour technique that combines expressive painting with delicate fineliner details, helping you bring clarity and character to your botanical subjects. Step by step, you will develop your sketching skills, practice colour mixing and colour matching, and learn how to build form through layering and blending.

Whether you are completely new to watercolour or already have some experience, you will be guided through the process in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. By the end of the session, you will have created your own botanical artwork or artworks and gained practical techniques you can continue using at home.

What is included?

All necessary material - high quality watercolours, brushes, high quality watercolour paper, an assortment of model plants and studio original learning tools are included in the price of the workshop.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided to keep the creative flow going while you enjoy a calm and inspiring studio experience.

Language of instruction

The session is instructed in German and English depending on our participants needs, we usually find a nice mix of both languages if English-speakers are present.
