Maximum Students: 2
Duration: .5 hr
Prerequisites: Intro to Sewing or equivalent experience
In this brief class, students who can demonstrate familiarity with a household sewing machine will learn to use the serger machine.
While far more complicated to thread and more difficult to correct faults than a sewing machine, serger machines can quickly make finished seams resistant to fraying as seen in T-shirts. The instructor will show how to thread and operate the machine, and then students will perform a brief exercise to demonstrate competence with the machine.
