No Experience Required!

Tuition includes all supplies and firings for a 6" project and a variety of sample tiles.

Get a dazzling introduction to the exciting world of fusing with iridescent glass! This workshop will give you an opportunity to create one 6” square project and a variety of sample tiles, demonstrating different techniques. Iridescent glass is one of the most variable and exciting materials available to the fuser and in this class you’ll learn how to create designs within the sparkle! You will be cutting stencils and using the sand blaster to create these shimmering bowls perfect for adding a luxurious touch to your home. Or gift them to that special person. In addition to the project shown here, you’ll also learn several other techniques for turning loose the magic of iridized glass! Tuition includes fusing and slumping. Projects will be ready for pick-up in about one week.

Please bring safety glasses if you have them, and always wear long pants and closed toe shoes. See you in class!

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.

What a great afternoon! My husband & I pulled murrine (arranged in advance), which I’ve never done. Joyce is excellent to work with and helps you learn different techniques by letting you actually do it with her supervision. So happy with my glass!
