Newsies Jr. Camp (ages 12-17)

Campers will put their acting, singing, dancing to use to learn to perform a full-stage production- Newsies Jr. the last day of camp. This musical theatre summer camp is designed for Ages 12-17.
The Main Stage camp gives the opportunity for campers to learn a full show in under a week's time. Campers will read and memorize from a script- Junior Scripts are typically 100 pages. They will also take notes (write stage directions) while also learning vocals and choreography. Music is sent early and scripts can be picked up prior to camp week at audition day (if balance is paid in full). Choreography instruction is given by auditory instruction and demonstration.

Audition date: June 19 (evening)
Show time on July 11th (evening - time TBD)
Camp dates: July 6- 11
Monday 7/6- Thursday 7/9 will be at Gloria Dei in Huntingdon Valley;
Friday 7/10 & Saturday 7/11 will be at Keith Valley Middle School

*Due to high demand, Summer registration deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Refunds cannot be given for reasons such as needing funds back, losing interest in a program, or having a child change their mind. Situations other than this will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• $30 fee will for any returned checks

Campers are required to bring a snack, drink & lunch every day.If your child requires a specific physical or learning accommodation, please fill out and submit this FORM at by May 30th.
