DESIGNING YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL 360 DIAGNOSTIC

How experienced practitioners create robust and reusable 360 tools

Thursday, 16th April 2026 1200 BST (virtual)

If you use 360 feedback regularly, off-the-shelf surveys can sometimes become more of a constraint than a support.

As your experience grows, you often develop a clear sense of what good 360 feedback looks like — but adapting tools for different clients, roles, teams or leadership levels can feel slow, inflexible or overly dependent on providers.

Many experienced practitioners eventually reach the point where they want the flexibility to design their own 360 frameworks, grounded in professional practice and adaptable across different contexts.

In this practical webinar we’ll explore how consultants and HR professionals can approach designing their own robust 360 diagnostics — including how to structure frameworks, write effective behavioural questions, and create tools that can be reused and adapted over time.

We’ll also introduce a new build-your-own 360 capability developed by Talent Innovations for practitioners who want greater creative control while maintaining strong structure, rigour and developmental integrity.

What's covered

In this session, we’ll explore:
  • The evolution of 360 diagnostics
  • What makes a 360 framework robust: competencies, behaviours, rating structures
  • Writing questions that generate meaningful insight
  • Structuring diagnostics for different leadership levels
Optional: tools that support practitioner flexibility

Who it's for

HR, OD and L&D leaders, leadership consultants and executive coaches who run 360 feedback regularly and want greater flexibility in how they design and deliver their diagnostics.
It is particularly relevant for practitioners who deliver 360 feedback across multiple clients, teams or leadership levels and want the ability to create their own frameworks, strengthen their professional brand, and build reusable tools grounded in their own expertise.
The session will be most valuable for those who run 360 feedback on a regular basis (typically two or more programmes a year) and are looking for a professional, scalable approach that can be adapted across different contexts.

Format: 60-minute interactive webinar

Includes: Live system walk-through, real design examples, and open Q&A

This session is a natural companion to The Secrets of a Truly Developmental 360 — moving from insight to hands-on design.
