Mosaic art has been used to decorate everything from ancient temples to modern office buildings. Mosaic designs can also embellish flower pots, picture frames, candle holders and more. Express yourself in mosaic art in this four week class; an intro to the basics of mosaic craft. Students will create a small glass mosaic panel on a 6” tile, and also a 9x12” glass mosaic panel on plywood. Students may opt for other, similar size projects, too.
Some previous glass cutting experience is helpful, but not required.
