Arts Experience at Loyalist

Camp Overview:

Join us for a week of fun and creativity in the art kitchen as we whip up tasty-looking creations inspired by the foods we love. Campers will “cook up” appetizing artwork inspired by artists such as Wayne Thiebaud, Claes Oldenburg, Sarah Graham, Peter Anton, Mechelle Bounpraseuth, Shayna Leib and Jae Yong Kim. Using clay, printmaking, drawing, painting and collage, young artists will explore colour, texture and form while transforming everyday treats into imaginative works of art. From towering desserts to playful food-inspired sculptures, campers will create delicious-looking masterpieces they will be proud to bring home at the end of the week.

Ages: 7 – 12

Skill Level:  All skill levels are welcome

• Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24
• 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Important Notes:

• Camp fee: $300.00. A $50.00 material fee is included in the price. 
• The camp is located at our Belleville Campus: 376 Wallbridge Loyalist Rd, Belleville, ON K8N 5B9
• Additional intake forms will be shared prior to the start of camp.
• A refund (less $20.00 administrative fee) will be issued if you withdraw from the class at least 14 days before the start date of the class. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued.
• If a camp is cancelled by Loyalist College, registered students will be provided with a full refund. College decisions to cancel a camp will be made three weeks before the start date.
