Active Shooter Training: Preparedness and Response
Nonprofit organizations welcome people from all walks of life, so being prepared is especially important.
The Network, in collaboration with Compliance Training Group, is providing an Active Shooter: Preparedness and Response training. This interactive, scenario-based training provides participants with clear, actionable strategies to prevent, prepare for, and respond to an active-shooter or violent-intruder event. The course emphasizes safety, communication, and coordinated response tailored to nonprofit settings such as community centers, faith-based facilities, social service agencies, shelters, and administrative offices.
There are only 75 spaces available for this training. Please let us know if you are unable to attend as we get closer to the training date.
This virtual training is provided for members and IDHS-funded DV/SA organizations only; and will issues 2 CEUs at no cost. For Social Work CEUs, please indicate this clearly in your registration and later in your evaluation. Please confirm here if your organization is a member of The Network.
