Middlebury Studio School

This class invites students to explore a wide range of materials and techniques while discovering fresh approaches to creating art in a community-centered environment. Each class will introduce a new medium or project, encouraging experimentation, creative expression, and collaboration.

Students will experiment with sumi ink drawing, create simple figure studies using watercolor and gouache, and design collage landscapes and imaginative phrenology maps. The class will also explore working in three dimensions by constructing architectural forms from basic shapes or building small sculptural scenes. Through guided projects, participants will have the opportunity to connect with a creative community while expanding their own artistic practice. All levels/Materials included, Adults & Teens 16+
