Mandatory, annual attendance for all staff.

Given the varied population served by Goddard, it is vital that employees understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across cultures. This training focuses on agency culture as well as cultural competencies, highlighting the mission, vision, and values of the Agency and the target population served.

Topics include:

• Examining Goddard Riverside strategies
• Cultural Competency
• Diversity identities
• Identifying institutional challenges

To receive training credit and a certificate of completion:

• Cameras must be on and facing you. If your camera is not working, please notify the facilitator. Participants without an active camera will not receive a certificate.
• Active participation is required. Our trainings are interactive and require engagement throughout the session.
• Late arrivals: Participants who arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted and will not receive credit.
• Individual registration is required. Each participant must register through Corsizio to receive a certificate. Sharing a screen without registering will not qualify for credit.
• Please keep your microphone muted unless speaking or participating in discussion.
