Sligo Yacht Club is looking for members for it’s GP14 & J24 fleets!

Would you like to get a feel for what’s it’s like to sail in an adult dinghy or keelboat fleet?

Did you sail years ago and are not sure how to get back involved?

Would you like to learn how to sail but are not sure how to start?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, contact Nancy Rooney, Training Manager on 0877766477 and find out if our Introduction to GP14 & keelboat sailing is for you.

The course will be run over 5 nights and will be facilitated by experienced sailors who will introduce you to the boat, help you rig and introduce you to the different aspects of crewing and helming in GP14's and or J24's.

Following the course you will be encouraged to join the fleet and continue your sailing journey as a full member of the club.

There will be days when weather conditions will prevent some or all course participants going on the water. This cannot be avoided and shore-based learning will be organised in lieu.
