Warwick Center for the Arts

In this 4 week session we will do portraits of Toddlers, Young Adults, Middle Age People and Elderly People. We work in pencil from photos that Terry provides. Each class begins with a 30-minute session of gesture (face) poses to warm us up and help us focus on portraits. Then you will choose which face you would like to work on to a completed state. There will be music and cookies and camaraderie too! Students will need to bring a sketchbook (8x10 or larger), a set of drawing pencils (HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B) and a kneaded eraser.
