The Basic Carbine course is designed to introduce shooters to the safe and effective use of a modern sporting rifle or defensive carbine. This course focuses on building a strong foundation in rifle handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and safe weapon manipulation.
Students will learn proper rifle setup, safe handling procedures, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and recoil management. The course also covers loading and unloading procedures, malfunction identification and clearance, and efficient rifle manipulation under controlled conditions.
Through a series of structured drills, students will develop confidence and consistency while engaging targets at practical distances. Instruction emphasizes safety, accuracy, and developing the core skills required to progress into more advanced carbine training.
This course is ideal for new rifle owners or shooters looking to build a solid foundation with the carbine platform before moving on to intermediate or tactical applications.
