Learn how to hem your clothes!

This class will consist of demonstrations and hands-on practice hemming clothes. Learn to do a simple blind stitch by hand, and then practice blind stitching your hem on sample fabric. Demos for machine stitching different types of hems will be shown, and we will see how a twin needle can be used on most sewing machines to hem stretch fabrics.

Supplies needed will be provided in class, but participants can bring their own supplies (hand-sewing needles, thread, pins, ruler or seam gauge) if desired.
