CETL1002 Generative AI in Higher Education: Teaching and Learning
This is a self-paced, asynchronous professional development course designed for faculty at The UWI. The course develops practical competencies across five modules: foundations of AI, context and prompt engineering, AI-enhanced curriculum design, assessment redesign in the AI age, and developing AI implementation plan. Grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and aligned with The UWI AI Policy Framework, the course aims to:
1. Foster deeper understanding how AI impacts teaching and learning in Higher Education (HE).
2. Develop practical strategies for implementing AI in HE teaching and learning
3. Leverage AI to improve course design, development and implementation
4. Encourage ethical and responsible AI adopting
