Teaching and Scholarship Hub

At the Faculty Hub, we have the privilege of working with faculty throughout the year and seeing firsthand the care, creativity, and commitment you bring to your work with students and colleagues. Faculty Appreciation Days are a small way for us to recognize that work and to say thanks.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22 for the following events--and stop by the Hub anytime this week for extra treats and surprises.

NOTE: We are excited to have coordinated our events with Academic Advising and their Advisor Appreciation Week this year. Please read below for the full schedule of events.

Tuesday: Salad Day

Stop by the Hub on Tuesday starting at noon and grab a boxed salad. A wide variety of salads will be available from Apple Spice Junction. When you sign up, please indicate whether you'd like a boxed salad and if you have any dietary restrictions. Lunch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wednesday: Celebratory Cupcakes!

On Wednesday, join us for mini-cupcakes from Pearl's, available from noon while supplies last!

Tuesday and Wednesday: Chair Massages

During this busy season, relax with a chair massage from Solomon Simon (Well-Being Center) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. either Tuesday or Wednesday, please sign up here.

Here is the full schedule of all the Appreciation-related events this week. You only need to sign up here if you plan to attend any of the above events in the Hub.

• Monday: Academic Advising, Suite 2A in the admin wing of Boatwright Library—coffee, donuts [9-11 am]
• Tuesday: Faculty Hub—Lunch (boxed salads from Apple Spice Junction) [noon] and chair massages [9 am-3 pm]
  
• Wednesday: Academic Advising—Lunch (Jimmy John's) [12-2 pm] ; Faculty Hub—chair massages [9 am-3 pm] and Pearl's mini-cupcakes [noon]
  
• Thursday: Academic Advising—Ice cream [2-4 pm]
• Friday: Academic Advising will draw raffle tickets!
