Oil Painting with Eric Lei (2 Day Class), July 27 & 28 1-4pm
This is a two day workshop focusing on painting fundamentals essential for both the aspiring beginner and seasoned hobbyist. Via the subject matter of Fire Island’s natural beauty, students will follow along with a demo focusing on building up a skill set essential for capturing the natural world. Participants will leave the workshop with newfound confidence in their painting skills, and a painting of their very own.
Eric Leichtung (b. 1995) spent his Summers growing up on Fire Island, with his family who resides in Ocean Bay Park. He pursued a career in fine art, attending Rhode Island School of Design and Grand Central Atelier. He currently teaches traditional painting in Brooklyn, and finds inspiration in the enchanting beauty of Fire Island.
The class is limited to 15 students aged 17+ with a waitlist. Should you need to cancel, you will be refunded (minus cc processing fee) only if we are able to fill your spot. All supplies needed are included.
