MoneyWi$er: A Personal Finance Bootcamp for K-12 Teachers

MoneyWi$er is a virtual, online session devoted to personal financial literacy! You will earn seven hours of continuing education credit, learn more about your own finances, discover best practices for teaching personal finance, and leave with a $75 gift card! We will divide by grade level, led by an experienced personal finance teacher.

To receive the $75 gift card, you are expected to keep your camera on if you are able, engage in the chat or unmute when asked, and be a teacher in Colorado or Wyoming.

10 to 10:50 a.m. - Personal Finance For Educators
Learn more about your own personal finances! You can choose between the following sessions: PERA 101 or Retirement Income Beyond my PERA Pension

11 to 11:50 a.m. - Grade Levels Part 2
Breakout groups by grade to be introduced to JA learning experiences relevant to grade level

12 to 12:50 p.m. - Lunch Break

1 to 1:50 p.m. - Grade Levels Part 3
Breakout group by grade to learn from an experienced personal finance teacher

2 to 2:50 p.m. - Personal Finance for Educators
Learn more about your own personal finances! You can choose between the following sessions: Foundations of Personal Finance or Estate Planning

Breakout group by grade to learn from an experienced personal finance teacher

What are the participation guidelines?
To receive seven hours of PD credit, participants must arrive on time, attend the entire session with their cameras on, join using a computer or laptop (not a mobile device), actively participate in discussions and breakout sessions, and complete the exit ticket at the end of the session.

What is your photo and video policy? Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any program/class, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video.

What is your refund policy?
Registration cancellations must be requested 10 business days prior to the class start date; otherwise registration fees will be forfeited.
