Intro to Combatives
Intro to Practical Combatives
Understanding Violence Before It Happens
Most people think self-defense is about techniques. In reality, personal safety begins long before a fight starts.
This seminar focuses on how real-world violence actually happens, how to recognize danger early, and how to manage situations before they escalate.
Participants will learn practical principles used to understand violent encounters, maintain control of space and distance, and respond effectively under stress.
This is not a sport martial arts class. The focus is on real-world awareness, decision-making, and simple responses that work when adrenaline is high.
What You'll Learn
• How real-world violence typically unfolds
• Recognizing pre-threat and pre-attack indicators
• Managing distance, positioning, and space
• Principle-based responses that work under stress
• The two most common types of attacks
• What to do if a confrontation becomes physical
The goal of this seminar is to give participants a clear understanding of violence dynamics and practical tools to improve their personal safety.
