This session will highlight the American Red Cross’s expanding its blood donor diversity initiatives—including the LGBTQ+ Initiative, the Latino Initiative, and the Sickle Cell Initiative—and how these efforts strengthen equity and improve patient outcomes. We will also explore the growing role of virtual blood drives (BloodLink) and the vital impact of our Regional Donation Centers in ensuring a stable and representative blood supply.
