EXE Rise Basic Maintenance
This half-day practical course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the safe use and basic maintenance of EXE RISE electric chain hoists. Ideal for operators, technicians, and venue staff, this session focuses on correct operation, visual inspections, lubrication, and recognising when a hoist must be removed from service.
What you will learn
  • Correct use and intended applications of EXE RISE D8 and D8+ hoists
  • Safe operation practices and essential hazard awareness
  • Identifying common installation errors such as chain twist and mis‑rigging
  • How to perform pre‑use and frequent inspections
  • How to assess hooks, chain, chain bags, cabling, and external components
  • How to lubricate the load chain correctly
  • Basic troubleshooting and fault recognition
Participants gain the knowledge and confidence to complete pre-use inspection, basic maintenance tasks and an understanding of safe use of electric chain hoist systems.
Successful attendees receive an EXE Technology Skills Lab Certificate of Completion.
