EXE Rise Basic Maintenance

This half-day practical course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the safe use and basic maintenance of EXE RISE electric chain hoists. Ideal for operators, technicians, and venue staff, this session focuses on correct operation, pre-use visual inspections, lubrication, and how to recognise when a hoist must be removed from service.

What you will learn
- Correct use and intended applications of EXE RISE D8 and D8+ hoists
- Safe operation practices and essential hazard awareness
- How to perform pre‑use checks
- Common prep/de-prep problems
- How to visually identify problems with hooks, chain, chain bags, cabling, and external components
- Lubricating the load chain correctly
- Basic troubleshooting and fault recognition
Participants gain the knowledge and confidence to complete pre-use checks, basic maintenance tasks and an understanding of safe use of electric chain hoist systems.
Successful attendees receive an EXE Technology Skills Lab Certificate of Completion.
