This two‑day hands‑on course expands on the fundamentals covered in the Level 1 programme and teaches additional maintenance skills required of a competent lifting equipment maintenance technician.
Participants will enjoy a mix between classroom theory delivered in our dedicated presentation suite
and hands on practical sessions where they will be able to dismantle and replace key components, carry out advanced inspections, and develop deeper troubleshooting capability.

- Detailed electro-mechanical understanding of EXE RISE hoists
- Maintaining Compliance through repair and testing
- Identifying wear beyond basic visual inspection
- Hook and Chain inspection and deformation assessment
- How to replace Hooks & Chain stops
- External chain guides inspection and replacement
- Friction clutch setting
- Brake inspection, Repair and Testing
- Diagnosing common mechanical and electrical symptoms
- Spare part identification and ordering

Experienced technicians, production staff, and rigging teams responsible for maintaining hoists in regular use.
