No Experience Required to Learn Beautiful Glass Mosaic!

Tuition plus cost of supplies ($25 - $35) - Bring your own frame and mirror

This wonderful project can be quick and easy to build or it can be complex, depending on your time and style.  We will start with a picture frame with glass that can be any style and color you like. We will add a beveled mirror on a raised glass platform, then we will mosaic around it with random strips of glass, rods and millefiori for additional texture and design. The colors you choose can be matched to any decor. This project is perfect to hang in your entry for that last minute check of your look as you leave. It has an elegant, one-of-a-kind flair that would also make a wonderful housewarming, wedding or anniversary gift.

You need to bring a picture frame with glass to class with you. We suggest a 10 x 13 glass surface for a manageable first project. We will discuss grouting and provide a handout for when you grout at home. If your frame doesn’t have glass, you can come early and we’ll cut a piece to fit it. Also bring a piece of mirror, beveled if you like, available at local craft stores. Approximately 8"x8" or 8"x11" work well. This project could be repeated at home with any size, even a large-scale mirror designed to hang over a vanity or in an entryway.

Even though class starts at 1:00 pm, please come to Harmony by 12:30 pm to select glass for your project. 

Please bring these items with you (or purchase at Harmony):

    • Safety Glasses
    • Sharpie Pen
    • Fabric Fusion or Weldbond Adhesive
    • A small box to carry your parts home with you
    • Zip lock baggies for tesserae
    • Optional: Blingy items like costume jewelry for accents
Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes, and bring safety glasses if you own them.






We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony when needed for your class. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.
