Leveraging AI Workflows To Support Scholarship
Thu, May 14, 2026, 10:00 – 11:50 AM EDT
Faculty Hub - Third Floor of Boatwright Library
This workshop introduces faculty to emerging AI workflows that support the full research lifecycle—from organizing and synthesizing large bodies of literature to building custom tools that extend their scholarship.
The session focuses on two major developments:
- Large-context reasoning tools that allow researchers to analyze and synthesize large collections of documents.
- Agentic coding systems that enable scholars to build lightweight software tools—even without extensive programming experience.
Participants will see how these tools can accelerate literature review, idea development, and tool creation while maintaining scholarly rigor.
