In this analytical and performance-focused camp, students learn how to interpret and present powerful speeches for an audience. Campers explore how tone, pacing, gestures, and vocal expression can transform written words into a compelling live performance.

Students will analyze the meaning and emotional impact of a speech, learn how to select important sections, and develop performance techniques that bring the message to life. Coaches guide campers through the process of understanding the speaker’s intent while helping them develop their own expressive delivery style.

How it Applies to the Real World: This camp helps students build confidence, emotional awareness, and performance skills while learning how to connect with an audience. These abilities support public speaking, leadership communication, acting, and classroom presentations.

Deliverable: At the end of the camp, students will perform their interpreted speeches in an in-class showcase, receive personalized feedback from coaches, and earn a certificate of completion.
