Confident Communicator: Storytelling (4th-5th)

In this fun and imaginative camp, students discover the power of storytelling and learn tell a story in engaging and creative ways. Campers will explore how great storytellers capture attention by using vivid details, expressive voices, and strong story structure.

Through interactive games, creative exercises, and guided practice, students will learn how to build a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. They will practice using descriptive language, gestures, and vocal expression to bring characters and events to life while developing confidence speaking in front of others.

Coaches help students transform everyday experiences and imaginative ideas into stories that entertain and connect with an audience. Each camper will have multiple opportunities to share their stories in a supportive environment where creativity and confidence grow together.

How it Applies to the Real World: Storytelling strengthens creativity, communication skills, and confidence. These abilities help students express themselves more clearly in class discussions, presentations, and social interactions.

Deliverable: By the end of the camp, students will present a polished story during an in-class storytelling showcase and receive personalized feedback along with a certificate of completion.
