Poetry has long been a vital tool in creating counter-culture to resist the rule of empires. Participants will read and discuss poems by queer, immigrant, and BIPOC writers that explore themes of oppression, resistance and revolution. We will collectively exercise our writing muscles and draft a poem that speaks to the current moment.
