Course Level

• Beginner+ (some prior clay experience)
• Intermediate

Age Levels

• Adults 18+
• Teens, 16-17 years (may register and attend independently)
• Kids, 12-15 years (must register and attend with a concurrently registered and attending adult parent or guardian. Adults and kids must be registered individually.)

Included in your tuition

• Midrange stoneware clay (other clay bodies available for purchase)
• Firing fees for all pieces made in this class
• Use of communal studio tools (individual tool kits also available for purchase)
• Use of studio slips, stains, and glazes

Good to know

• There is no Open Studio time included with this course, but we offer drop-in open studio during our open hours. Learn more here!
• To cut down on trash, we don't provide paper towels in the studio. We suggest all students bring a hand towel for clean-up. It's also a good idea to wear an apron or old clothes that can get dirty.
• Registrations for courses that have not met the required number of students will close 24 hours before the start date of the course.
• Students may return to the Clay Center during Open Studio to finish pieces started in class for one month following the last class day of their registered class.

Missed Class/Make-up Policies

• We allow one make-up for a missed class per four-week course.
• After the last class in a session has begun, we will email all enrolled students with information on available class make-up spots for that session.
