Ata Ceramics Courses

Come along and play with clay in a gentle, calm studio space in Lyttelton.

For children 8 and over, this a is a fun class where children will try out using a potter's wheel. Learn about clay, look at a kiln, watch your tutor make a big pot and then have a go yourself. All children will be supported to make at least 1 - 2 creations on the wheel. The class is taught in the spirit of creative, messy play and learning. Making mistakes is totally fine and expected!

Their creations will be trimmed, fired and glazed for them and ready in a few weeks after the class.

Please bring an apron and drink bottle.
