Flowers of the Season: A Spring Watercolor Painting Class
Flowers of the Season: A Spring watercolor painting class
Expressive Arts for Self Care Workshop taught by Meliz Laugen
Join us Sunday May 10 from 12 to 2 pm for an afternoon of watercolor painting.
The class fee is a suggested 25$ donation that will cover all materials.
We will begin with a quiet meditation to ease into our creativity. From there I will give a brief
lesson in watercolor painting. Then we will paint fresh flowers of the spring season.
Flowers can represent a vast language of love, emotions, and messages. Lets focus on love
today in all its variations. Love in friendship, love of nature, love of creative growth and
freedom. I would like the class to concentrate on love in each of their own lives and bring forth
their own unique style of painting. Love is not only a feeling, but also a deliberate act of
nurturing and compassion. I like the idea of focusing on what love means to us and radiating
that energy out into the world. It is essentially an act of good will.
I hope this workshop will open our hearts and bring out joy and creativity.
“There is nothing more truly artistic than to love people.”
