Kimm Topping is a writer, educator, and founder of Lavender Education, a creative education and publishing platform that blends storytelling, history, and hands-on creative practice. They are the author of Generation Queer (Lee & Low Books) and creator of community-based public history projects including Mapping Feminist Cambridge and Mapping Queer Boston. Kimm regularly leads collage, history, and storytelling workshops at libraries, museums, and cultural spaces nationwide, helping participants connect with history through accessible, creative learning. Their work has been recognized by the 2025Lavender Rhino Award from Queer History Boston, the 2025 Curve Power List, and the 2023 Inaugural In-Service Award from the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition.
