Paddle on Heart Lake
Heart Lake is home to more than just the Adirondak Loj. Join an ADK Naturalist for a guided canoe paddle around this pristine Adirondack lake and learn about its history and inhabitants. Spot some salamanders, maybe hear a loon if you're lucky, and enjoy a day on the water!
This paddle is suitable for all levels of paddling experience; basic canoe safety and paddling techniques will be covered by the instructor. Personal Floatation Devices (PFD), paddles, and canoes will be provided by ADK.
The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) welcomes people of all backgrounds and is committed to fostering a safe space for everyone to learn.
If you would like to continue exploring and paddling on Heart Lake at your own leisure after the program, you can rent the equipment you used during the program until 4pm. To rent equipment, select the "Program + Rental" payment option, and sign the rental agreement found in the confirmation email.
Important notes:
- Registration required. Register to ensure your spot in the program.
- Participants should each register individually even if you plan to come and paddle as part of a group.
- If you plan to rent equipment after the program, only one participant per boat has to pay the rental fee.
