In this series of classes we will tackle creating portraits that are full of emotion! Each week we will look at faces experiencing different emotions from happy to sad, and angry to surprised. It's a benefit if you've already worked on portraits or attended a portrait class, but this is not a requirement. In the portrait class we make observations and train our hand to draw and shade what our eyes are seeing. We begin by creating 4-5 timed gesture poses to get warmed up and notify our brain that we're going to be working on faces! It's the practice that everyone loves to hate! But it bears fruit in the long run.
