Computational making puts creativity, coding, and problem-solving at the heart of learning. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how making with code can expand students’ thinking, deepen mathematical understanding, and open new possibilities across disciplines.
Designed for educators of all experience levels, this playful and practical session introduces powerful, accessible tools that remove traditional coding barriers. You’ll learn how to create engaging, project-based “Learning Adventures” that spark curiosity, inquiry, and meaningful student work.

- Microworlds using Snap!
- Physical computing with the BBC micro:bit
- Vibecoding
- Wolfram Notebook Assistant + LLM Kit

Dr. Gary Stager is a globally recognized educator with over 40 years of experience in educational technology and progressive pedagogy. A pioneer of 1:1 computing and co-author of Invent To Learn, Gary has taught learners from preschool to doctoral level.
