BIPOC Focus - Short Form for Long Form Players
Short form isn’t just fast and fun—it’s a powerful tool for building better long form.
This class will focus on teaching and practicing a variety of games, while using them to hone the skills that elevate long form: clear initiations, strong characters, emotional commitment, and clean edits. You’ll explore how the structure and pace of short form sharpens your instincts and strengthens your scene work.
By working in both short and sustained formats, you’ll learn when to lean into game, when to ground in relationship, and how to carry those skills into longer, more connected scenes.
Perfect for improvisers who want to be more versatile in playing short form while honing their long form—gaining confidence, adaptability, and a stronger overall performance toolkit.
Learn with Betse Green, a 25-year veteran and master of both forms.
