Introduction to Psychology (9th - 12th)
Help your student better understand themselves and the world around them in this engaging and practical high school psychology course. Using Introduction to Psychology from a Christian Perspective by 7SistersHomeschool, students will explore why people think, feel, and behave the way they do—while learning to evaluate modern psychological ideas through a strong biblical worldview.
This class goes beyond textbook learning. Through guided discussions, real-life examples, and interactive activities, students will gain valuable insight into topics like personality, relationships, emotions, decision-making, and mental health. These are life skills that equip teens not only for college-level coursework, but for everyday challenges, friendships, and future careers.
Parents will appreciate the balanced approach—students are introduced to key psychological theories while also learning discernment and how to thoughtfully compare them with Scripture. The class environment encourages respectful conversation, critical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas.
Whether your student is college-bound or simply curious about human behavior, this course provides a meaningful, relevant, and faith-based introduction to psychology that will stay with them long after the class ends.
