Stitched With Love - Kids Crochet Class 8-12 yrs
Kids Crochet Class - Thursday 9th April
Come along and join us for a fun and creative workshop for kids aged between 8 to 12 years old to learn the basics of crochet.
Children will be taught the basic crochet stitches and make a wristband.
Children that have some experience will learn to make a basic Granny Square and if they so choose, this can be donated to the Stitched With Love Project.
One of the goals of the Stitched With Love Project is to pair kaumatua with youth to nurture intergenerational connections and spread awareness of the Stitched with Love programme by working together to produce blankets for those in need in our community. We will have some of our kaumatua here on the day who will work with the children sharing their skills and helping them to learn the craft of crochet.
